Ok, So I am remembering when I was a kid and used to go trick or treating. First of all, we would start with big huge pillow cases, and wouldn't stop till they were full. I think we stayed out for as long as we could, and we would hit up all the complexes, so we could get more candy faster.

My brother on the other hand, goes out with a little bag or bucket (a fraction of the size of a pillow case) and him and his friends go for a bit, until they get tired. I used to dump out my whole pillow case when I got home and sort all the candy into piles. He doesn't do that, maybe I will do it for him. But it seems like nowadays everyone hands out the same stuff.

Super cute!

This little boy and girl are twins who live in my neighborhood, I thought they looked super cute, so I gave them extra candy! Posted by Picasa

Here is my little brother and his friend. Adam is Anakin Skywalker, and Nick is Darth Vader. My mom is very proud for making his costume at the last minute! Posted by Picasa

20 Things about me: PartTwo

hmmmm.......

11. I Love taking pictures, I bring my camera almost everywhere I go, and I have boxes and boxes of photos, but lately I have been really into Scrapbooking. I plan to some day have them all organized by year and event in beautifully hand-crafted scrapbooks made by moi!!

12. I dont like onions! I've always been told that someday I will, but I just don't. I can only handle them in soup and in onion rings. If they are in food, no matter how tiny - I can tell.

13. I can bake and cook, and I usually don't even need a recipe. I knew how to make dinner before most of my friends could microwave a pizza pop - Im not kidding.

14. Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I don't know why, but I always feel relaxed and happy, On Sundays, I like to sleep in, eat a big breakfast, take a bath, clean my room, and watch movies.

15. I am optimistic and hopeful! Things always seem to work out in the end!... don't you think?

16. Altogether, I have 8 Grandparents, 7 of which are still living. I feel very lucky because of this! I was also the first grandchild for most of them!

17. I love "Jack in the Box!" No one understands why, but they have this salad called "Southwest Chicken salad" and it is unbelievable. I must have one everytime I cross the border! I also like their curly fries, and oreo cookie milkshakes!

18. I don't like rude people, or people with too much attitude.

19. My three favorite vacations have been Spain, Hawaii, and Cancun! But I've been to Disneyland 7 times and I love it over and over again!

20. I don't like rain very much... ok I don't mind it sometimes, but It is raining right now, and I can hear it outside my window, and couldn't think of anything better for number 20! :)

Okay. So there is my list! Since I was tagged by Suzanne, I now tag Lisa to make her 20 things list!

When will this day end?

Ok, So I have been at school since 9 am this morning, and couldn't park underground so I've already had to move my car twice to keep from getting a ticket for parking over the time allowed. I have to work today at 5:00 for the Canucks game that starts at 6, which means that I wont be home till late. I also had a test today, that was very stressful, because it was timed, and we were all racing to finish in time. I am excited for tomarrow, because it is the weekend, and I can relax!!!

My Halloween Costume

This year for Halloween I am going to be "Alice and Wonderland"! Here is the costume I ordered off of Ebay and got in the mail. Still not sure exactly what we are all doing, but Chris is having a pre- Halloween party on Saturday, and then I think we will go downtown.

Love bird Pictures from Portofino Italy

I like these pictures that I found today on Justjared.com. This is Josh Hartnett by the way, and model Gemma Ward. The photoshoot, done for Vogue magazine is called "The Love Boat, Innocence Abroad", shot in Portofino, Italy.

20 things about me!

Ok, so I was tagged by another blogger, so I will start my "20 things about me list" for those who dont really know me, and those who like reading some random, but fun information.
Here it goes...

1. I have been a flower girl at two weddings. One time I even caught the bouquet.
2. I love pizza, pasta, sushi and Thai food. But NOT the yucky sushi like sea urchin and eel!

3. I have never had a dog as a pet. I have always wanted one, but somehow always ended up with cats. I have had cats, fish, birds, and hamsters in my life... but no dog.

4. I love James Dean, I have a posters, a calendar, and screensaver. I think he looks so classic and memorable in those famous black and white photos of his.

5. My all time favorite TV show is The Wonder Years,
But I also love... Desperate Housewives, The OC, and Sex in the City!!!
6. I love to drink coffee, tea and eat chocolate while watching t.v. and studying. I actually like to study while I watch T.V., and talk on the phone, and use my laptop. There is only enough time in one night, right?

7. I used to keep a diary all through school up to grade 9, which I would write in everynight, and would bring to school for my friend Kelsey to read, she would bring her diary too, and we would know everything about each other's day to day life.

8. I used to want to be a News Anchor just like Pamela Martin, who I got to meet and saw broadcast live during a field trip to CTV news station.

9. I am outgoing, friendly, and sensitive. Sometimes too sensitive though, but who isn't. At least I'm not insensitive.

10. I am afraid of sharks, and being in the Ocean at night, where I can't see the bottom and what is underneath me. This is why I won't watch the movie "Open Water" because I love snorkeling and fish!

I will write the other 10 next time. I have no more energy left tonight.

Hurricane Wilma

I couldn't believe all the pictures on the news tonight of the damage caused by yet another hurricane. This weekend Hurrican Wilma gutted the coast of Cuba, Florida Keys, and Cancun Mexico. I was in Cancun less than 2 years ago, and some of the footage I saw was from places I had been. It is so sad, this resort town will now have to rebuild so much to replace all the beaches, hotels and shopping malls hurt from the storm. Cancun relies on their tourist industry.

This picture is of a little Mexican girl waiting in line for water in the center of town, I like it because I think she looks very hopeful! Airports are still closed and no one can fly home yet. Not a very nice way to end a vacation, thats for sure.

I almost Lost my Blog

So last night, all of a sudden i logged on and my blog was blank. This morning it still wasnt there, so I messaged Quentin frantically not knowing what to do. The Blogger supportjust emailed me and said this...

Hi Candice,

I'm afraid you've fallen victim to a bug in our system which occasionally
loses template data. Your posts are still safe, but unfortunately we were
not able to recover your template for you. To use one of our default
templates, you can click the Pick New link on the Template tab. This will
let you publish your blog again while you recreate your old template. We
apologize for the inconvenience and we are working on getting this problem
fixed. However, it is always a good idea to save your own copy of a
template if you make extensive customizations.

Sincerely, Graham
Blogger Support

So I decided to fix my template and start by making it green. Green is actually my favorite color!

ATLANTIS

The Atlantis resort in Nassau Bahama's is my ultimate dream vacation. The hotel has so many awesome things to do. Almost every wall is a fish tank, every room is ocean themed and the resort is spectacular. It is made to look like the lost city of Atlantis. There are even waterslides that travel thru shark infested waters. I would love to go here and bring my underwater camera!

There is an amazing number of pools and lagoons. There are water slides and lazy river rides. The beach is beautiful and there are secluded areas as well. Some of the older James Bond movies were filmed here.

Weeks spent here can cost more than a month in Mexico. The Atlantis Bridge Suite runs at 25,000 dollars a night. It does come with its own butler and 10 rooms.

here are some more views. I feel like I should work for hotel advertising haha

Brit's Baby?

picture is removen, because Ryan warned me that any site posted could be fined for copyright infringement.. better safe than sorry i guess.. even on my lil blog!

So apparently Britney freaked out and decided not to sell her baby pictures of Sean Preston federline to the magazines for 2 Million dollars. She said she felt like she was selling her baby out... These are the pictures that everyone is wondering whether the baby is real or someone just went a little crazy with the photo shop. I think it all sounds like a publicity stunt on Britney's part. Comon the baby's going to be seen eventually!!

Convict fishies

Chris' fish had babies this weekend (this is the second time). I am quite proud because the mother is a fish I picked out and named Kobe. This is before I knew the fish was a female convict. See the lil' specs swimming around?!

HALLOWEEN TROLLEY TOUR

Tonight was the Trolley tour,a fundraiser put on by the Vancouver Museum. There was about 10 of us who went, ready for a scare, but it was mostly a heritage tour with old ghost stories from around Vancouver. We did get to go to this old cemetary and the old morgue in the Police Museum. It was pretty interesting considering I like the TV show "Crossing Jordan". We got to learn a bit about how an autopsy is performed and we saw some pretty amazing houses as well. Our tour guide was a little strange and the boys kept getting in trouble for being too loud at the back of the bus, But at the end of the night we got to eat at Stepho's!!!.

Haunted House Trolley Tour

Tonight I am going on the Vancouver Haunted Trolley Tour, this takes you to old heritage houses around Vancouver, I really have no idea what to expect, but that is the exciting part!

Itunes Radio

ITunes has some great radio stations. I was feeling some good studying music, so I clicked on Ambient, and a whole list of radio stations came up. So I have now spent more time checking them all out, as well as other genres, that I have not done much studying!.... I wish you could connect to this from your ipod.

My very distant cousin?

So my uncle has been researching our family name and he came across some probable distant relatives who live in Austria. My family thinks this girl looks very similar to me. I guess I can see some resemblence but i'm not quite sure. So apparently I am somewhat related to this Austrian woman of the same name. Very interesting stuff! Posted by Picasa

Canuck's Game

Last night we went to the Chicago v. Canucks Hockey Game. We won 5-2. We took one of those bar fan buses, which we were late for and missed the dinner. We finally made it but it was a little embarrassing when the whole bus started clapping as we walked on. Posted by Picasa
