20 things about me!

Ok, so I was tagged by another blogger, so I will start my "20 things about me list" for those who dont really know me, and those who like reading some random, but fun information.
Here it goes...

1. I have been a flower girl at two weddings. One time I even caught the bouquet.
2. I love pizza, pasta, sushi and Thai food. But NOT the yucky sushi like sea urchin and eel!

3. I have never had a dog as a pet. I have always wanted one, but somehow always ended up with cats. I have had cats, fish, birds, and hamsters in my life... but no dog.

4. I love James Dean, I have a posters, a calendar, and screensaver. I think he looks so classic and memorable in those famous black and white photos of his.

5. My all time favorite TV show is The Wonder Years,
But I also love... Desperate Housewives, The OC, and Sex in the City!!!
6. I love to drink coffee, tea and eat chocolate while watching t.v. and studying. I actually like to study while I watch T.V., and talk on the phone, and use my laptop. There is only enough time in one night, right?

7. I used to keep a diary all through school up to grade 9, which I would write in everynight, and would bring to school for my friend Kelsey to read, she would bring her diary too, and we would know everything about each other's day to day life.

8. I used to want to be a News Anchor just like Pamela Martin, who I got to meet and saw broadcast live during a field trip to CTV news station.

9. I am outgoing, friendly, and sensitive. Sometimes too sensitive though, but who isn't. At least I'm not insensitive.

10. I am afraid of sharks, and being in the Ocean at night, where I can't see the bottom and what is underneath me. This is why I won't watch the movie "Open Water" because I love snorkeling and fish!

I will write the other 10 next time. I have no more energy left tonight.

Hurricane Wilma

I couldn't believe all the pictures on the news tonight of the damage caused by yet another hurricane. This weekend Hurrican Wilma gutted the coast of Cuba, Florida Keys, and Cancun Mexico. I was in Cancun less than 2 years ago, and some of the footage I saw was from places I had been. It is so sad, this resort town will now have to rebuild so much to replace all the beaches, hotels and shopping malls hurt from the storm. Cancun relies on their tourist industry.

This picture is of a little Mexican girl waiting in line for water in the center of town, I like it because I think she looks very hopeful! Airports are still closed and no one can fly home yet. Not a very nice way to end a vacation, thats for sure.

I almost Lost my Blog

So last night, all of a sudden i logged on and my blog was blank. This morning it still wasnt there, so I messaged Quentin frantically not knowing what to do. The Blogger supportjust emailed me and said this...

Hi Candice,

I'm afraid you've fallen victim to a bug in our system which occasionally
loses template data. Your posts are still safe, but unfortunately we were
not able to recover your template for you. To use one of our default
templates, you can click the Pick New link on the Template tab. This will
let you publish your blog again while you recreate your old template. We
apologize for the inconvenience and we are working on getting this problem
fixed. However, it is always a good idea to save your own copy of a
template if you make extensive customizations.

Sincerely, Graham
Blogger Support

So I decided to fix my template and start by making it green. Green is actually my favorite color!
