I went to Nunavut!!

My flight to Glasgow, which was supposed to be non-stop from Vancouver, was re-routed and had an unscheduled stop in Iqaluit, Nunavut - Canada's Artic territory! A lady at the back of the airline was very sick and a nurse (passenger called forward) hooked her up to an IV. Flying throught the night, the lights were on everyone was wondering what was going on... All of a sudden, about an hour later, an announcement was made notifying us that we were landing so the lady could have a doctor's help.

We landed in the middle of nowhere!!! We were literally surrounded by snow with minus cold conditions! We were in Nunavut, the tiny airport had never seen a plane of our size and was not equipped to get the doctor on board. Once she was taken off by a doctor with a ladder, her suitcase needed to be found which took in total about 3 hours. The important thing was this lady was on her way to the hospital, but what an adventure!!! I'm surprised this town had anything, let alone a hospital!!! Finally after a twelve hour delayed flight I am here. Having an amazing time!! - More posts and pictures to Come!!!

Im leaving tonight for the U.K. First Scotland, then off to London, England! I am so excited!!!

Today was such a beautiful day. Melanie and I went for an early lunch at Earls. We sat on the patio in the sun, it was so nice!

Happy Birthday Chloe

Went for dinner on Friday night for Chloe's Birthday! CIELO'S is a cute little place at the beach which serves tapas and sangria! It was wonderful! Chloe even had a beautiful pink cake from "Cupcakes" downtown!

Here we are eating Oysters! Not my favorite I must say, but I was talked into it! The look on Chloe's face was hilarious as she watched me!

Last night I went to watch the game at my uncles. Here is me and my little cousin Sarah who loves taking pictures!

New Laptop!!

Just to let everyone know... I have a brand new $1400 dollar laptop. And guess what????... I got it for free!!! It sure pays to talk to the highest store manager you can!!! I had some trouble with my old one, and after it was sent all over Canada for repairs, and most of my files were lost, I definately was not happy! so losing files really sucked but at least something good came from the whole situation!!!

I vote for Chelsea! She's the underdog struggling with her dancing! But I think she has been kept in the competition for a reason, and her singing is amazing! I was glad Melissa S went home tonight.
Oh boy! I cannot believe I have become addicted to this silly little reality show! It's just so good!!!
