Hurricane Alberto

There is a hurricane that is sweeping thru Florida right now! Don't worry, im not in any danger, but the weather here lately has been crazy! Last night there was a huge rain and wind storm, just from walking home I was absolutely soaked! It was actually a lot of fun!

Alicia and I went on the biggest Walmart trip ever yesterday! We had so much fun and were so glad that Alicia met a nice guy who was able to drive us and pick us up with our two carts full of groceries! We bought everything, and now our kitchen and apartment is fully stocked! Check out these mini Ben and Jerry's we bought! Super cute!

Golden Corral

Today I got my hair cut! It was awesome because the hair stylist Alfredo was awesome, I didnt even know, but he used to do hair for Toni and Guy in London and New York, so he did a really good job! After Tanis and I went for dinner at Golden Corral which is a buffet with absolutely everything! We literally stuffed our faces! It only cost 10 dollars and there is so much food! The desserts are amazing! You can even make sundaes! So we walked home and complained about how full and sick we felt the whole time!

Lace and Leah come to visit!

Last night was awesome because Lacey and Leah came to visit me at the Commons. Leah is a nanny in Tampa and Lacey was visiting her. I was so happy to see from friends from home. They absolutely loved it here and kept saying how much they wished they lived here as well. I took them around and they met lots of my friends and people from other countries! Fun times!!!

CLUB PARIS!

Last night I went to Club Paris. It was awesome!!!! It's super nice inside and all the walls are even pink. This is Paris Hilton's club and is known for really good music and a packed dance floor! Click here to check out the Club Paris website!!!!

Comments not working

So im not sure what is wrong with my comments on my blog, but no one has been able to leave them for the last week... This sucks! I will let you know as soon as the problem is fixed!!!

Good times!

Today was such a long day! I worked for 10 hours! - I would say the longest day since I have been here, my feet hurt so much, especially after dancing all last night in high heels. Tonight Tracy and I got off work and we were starving so we asked the chef if we could have breadstix, so this is us on the bus so tired and happy that we are eating them! haha


This morning there was a pool party at the pool with a DJ, pizza and drinks, and even Mickey Mouse. I couldn't go because I had to work, but Alicia and I got a picture on our way out!

My Great day!

Right now I am in the best mood ever, so I thought I would blog! Today I had my culinary day which was awesome! I got to dress in a chef uniform and try all the foods all day. It was wonderful and everyone who works in the kitchen is so nice! I ate steak, prawn pasta, mushroom risotto, salads, appys and tons of desserts! Creme Brulee is my favortite!! I also got to make lots of the desserts, the coolest was making chocolate mousse from scratch!

Yesterday at work there was a huge rain storm and after the most beautiful rainbow! I was training Heather on greeter and we took a picture after the storm.


The best part of today was Alicia moved in to my apartment! We are now roomates! When I got home from work she had moved in all her stuff and was putting up pictures. I am so happy because we are going to have the best time, we had a glass of wine to celebrate and we are later going to an International party in apartment 19! Tommorrow I am food running and next week Im going into service!

P.S. Life is good here in Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other night ALicia and I went to PI and we had a blast. We checked out the Adventurer's Club which is a Live comedy club were people appear from everywhere and the walls talk. I know that sounds really weird, but this place was crazy! We didn't really know what was going on, so we decided to go to BET! Last night some of us went to Bahama Breeze for dinner! Epcot fun!

Today I had another day off, I went with my roomate Gemma, Justin from Canada and Hanz from Norway to Epcot. We made kidcot masks and took pictures around the world. It's funny cause I can get tired of the other parks.. but not Epcot, which is strange because it's the one I work at!

Great News!!!

8 weeks today everyone!!!

It doesn't really seem like I have been here this long... the time is absolutely flying by and I feel like there is still sooooo much to do and see while Im here. 2 days ago I found out I am going into service! HOORAY! Apparenly 2 months is super quick and I cannot wait! On Saturday I have my culinary day and then next week I will be food running! Which means I will soon be a server at the Number 1 restaurant in all of Disney World which is booked up right now til the end of June...

Just My Luck

Went to see this movie today! It was super cute! I laughed alot and I really enjoyed it. Lindsay Lohan is actually really good in it and really funny! It's directed by the same people who did "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days", so if you liked that, you will probably like this one too! Total chick flick!

Pleasure Island last night

Last night Alicia and I went to Pleasure Island. I love it there because you can just walk the streets and go to whichever club you want. We got these drinks from 8 Trax disco that glow in the dark!

My new Camera!

Well yesterday I worked til 5 and then went and hung out by the pool for a bit. Knut gave me a ride to Walmart so I could try to exchange my camera again (has been not working for a week). For the second time this week I was there for almost 2 hours. Apparently one of the most difficult things to do in the world is make an exchange when you bought the camera in Canada. I was on the phone with BestBuy Corporate, the store back home I bought it at, and the warranty company. What a nightmare!!!! I was ready to give up, when another manager came over and told me to go pick out a new camera. I really think he just felt sorry for me. So I got a new Canon - SD450 which has a much larger screen and is 5 megapixels! Yay!
Later on I went to ALe House with a group of the Canadians for Terry's leaving party.

My great day off!

Today was so much fun! I went with Gary (who also had the day off) to the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian resorts to lie by the pool and the beach! It was beautiful! We then went to Epcot, went on some rides and had dinner in Japan!! Here are pics from the beaches at the Floridian and Cinderella's Carriage which was being used for a wedding that day!
