Christmas is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how close it is until Christmas, to me it seems like fall is just flying by. The whole year has actually flown by! I look at the trees and all the leaves are almost gone, pretty soon they will be bare, with only remains of frost.

I need to start Christmas shopping, this year I want to be prepared, and my mom and I are planning on going shopping in the States soon, so hopefully I will get lots done there. There are already santa set ups at the malls!

This weekend, at Mayne Island, Sharon wants to have a gingerbread house making contest!! Wow! it seems like I just finished carving a pumpkin! hehe
anyways it will be fun, and who doesnt love being in the Christmas mood anyways?! right.... Ho ho ho

Long weekend

On Saturday, I went to my Aunt and Uncles for a little party for my dad's Birthday. Here I am with my baby cousin. We are both on our cell phone! hehe

50 Cent movie

Lat night, Chris and I saw the new 50 Cent movie. I liked it! It seems like every movie I watch lately I really like. It is not usually this way! This one was good because there was alot of action and things going on. You have to be in the right mood to watch this movie though. The movie is all about 50 Cent's life as a drug dealer turned rapper, but all the names were changed.
I am not a big 50 Cent fan or anything, but I found the movie about his life very interesting!!!

Last night we went to Mirage for the legendary long weekend party, It was very busy!! Here are a few pics.

SHOPGIRL

Tonight Ola and I met at Geoff's and we went to see the movie Shopgirl starring Steve Martin and Claire Danes. I really enjoyed it. It was a sad, but at sometimes funny, take on love and relationships.

Claire Danes plays a lonely girl who works in the glove department of Saks 5th Avenue, and meets 2 very different men. The story is actually based on a novel written by Steve Martin. I liked it!

Some Random thoughts for November...

I always think that everything works out the way that it should in the end, but is how it worked out really how it should have worked out?, or is it sometimes just an alternate ending that we are able to deal with?

Why does it always seem that November comes right after September, and October seems to get lost in between, or at least pass by before my eyes. What happened during October anyways?

Being Selfish may get you to the top, but it sure is lonely up there.

Sometimes it is accurate to say that if you are going to commit to something, commit 100% or dont bother committing at all!

This is kinda mean but also kinda funny. Why is Kevin Federline such a loser??? I would be embarrassed to be married to this guy if I was Britney. He spends all her money, doesn't work, smokes and drinks all day. Recently Britney was mad at him and cut off his credit cards. He was seen trying to rent a video from Blockbuster and being denied on his Visa card. He doesn't help out with the baby much either, Britney stays at home, while K-Fed hits the club seen all the time.

Roosters

 
Ola and I were relaxing at home, and we had nothing to do, so at the last minute we decided to go to Roosters. We used to go every Sunday when Aaron Prichett used to play, so we thought it might be fun to go for old times sake. It was super busy and we had fun. One of our highschool teachers is still the doorman, so it worked out well. We saw a bunch of people from highschool there too, It was Mateo's birthday. 

Jarhead

Last night Chris and I went to see Jarhead. He was the one that really wanted to see it, but I think that I ended up enjoying it more than him. Althought the theatre was packed and we had to sit in the very front section, I thought the movie was great! I was so entertained and it was also very funny. I really like Jamie Foxx and Jake Gyllenhaul. This movie tells the story of going to war from a Marine's point of view and what went on during the Gulf War. I thought it was great!

We got our Practicums!!

 
Today we had our interviews! Melinee and I are so happy because we get to do our legal practicums at the same law firm! Hooray! 

Our bird died

My mom has had this budgie for a while, and today when she got home, she notice it was lying dead in its cage. Quite sad actually because we dont know how it died. Right away my mom got on the computer and started Googling why budgies die. I never noticed the bird very much, I think I walked past the cage a few times today not even knowing. I feel kinda bad because My mom really liked it.
