New Laptop!!

Just to let everyone know... I have a brand new $1400 dollar laptop. And guess what????... I got it for free!!! It sure pays to talk to the highest store manager you can!!! I had some trouble with my old one, and after it was sent all over Canada for repairs, and most of my files were lost, I definately was not happy! so losing files really sucked but at least something good came from the whole situation!!!

I vote for Chelsea! She's the underdog struggling with her dancing! But I think she has been kept in the competition for a reason, and her singing is amazing! I was glad Melissa S went home tonight.

Lisa and Michelle had a joined bday party on the weekend. It was tons of fun! There were boys there, I guess they just weren't allowed in our girly photos! Haha!

The New Bachelor!

I love this show! It's so funny, the girls are so catty and my mom and I can't stop laughing! Here is the new bachelor, Andi Baldwin who is searching for the love of his life. He cut the 25 girls down to 15 tonight on the season opener. Can't wait to see what happens! I know, I'm a sucker!!!

without laptop

When I took my laptop in last week to be looked at because I thought I had a minor software problem that could be fixed right away. Well when the guy looked at me and said "mam you're computer has lots of problems, hardware and software problems". Luckily when I bought it, almost two years ago I bought the extended warranty, so its all getting fixed for free!!!! I think an estimated 900 dollars in repairs should justify a replacement, but no. So my blogging will definately suffer over the next little while. This really sucks, i think I became dependent on mine for many things...

Yesterday I bought myself a Brand new 2007 Honda Civic EX - Fully loaded!! I absolutely love it!!

Im Home!!

So this last week has been crazy! After being gone for a year living in another country, one's life must be put back together again! I have been running around doing banking, runny errands, sorting out work related things, and trying to see some of my family and friends. Things will be much easier now that I bought a new car!! It's nice to be home though and I don't miss Florida yet in case you were wondering!!

New York!

Well just returned home from my third trip to New York City!! Mom and Grandma came, which was exciting because it was their first time in the Big City! We did lots and lots of New York things. Ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, View from the Top of the Rock, Carriage ride in Central Park, Times Square, Ground Zero, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and of course shopping on 5th Avenue, Chinatown and Little Italy! We had a blast! Gary came along as well but spent most of the time sorting out his passport! We also saw two Broadway shows! Beauty and the Beast and Chorus Line. The were both amazing, but I especially liked Chorus Line which was full of dancing, singing and was really funny!! New York is amazing! I am now fully familiar with all the cities Subway lines. We bought day passes and I navigated the whole time!

Daytona Beach

For my last day in Florida, Gary and I drove to Daytona Beach! It was amazing!! I had not been there yet so we jumped in my convertible PT Cruiser and headed North. It was like nothing else, you can drive and park your car right on the beach. We took lots of pictures, went surfing (well Gary did), and got a lot of sun! Such a wonderful end to an incredible year! It was so so nice driving on the beach with the top down, sun on your face and wind in your hair.

Chef Mickeys!!

So much fun! Located at the Contemporary hotel in Disney World, is Chef Mickeys. Gary and I went for breakfast where Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto all stop by your table wearing there chef outfits. It was way too cute! I had a lot of fun! Goofy even got on one knee and proposed to me. I said yes!

Last week in Florida!

So here is what Ive been up to this last week, which happens to be my last week here in Florida. I leave the day after tomorrow for New York, which is later then I planned, but actually worked out really well because I've been able to take in that last little bit of Disney Magic!

During my last week of work at Epcot, got to work outside on the promenade it was great!
Blizzard Beach and Winter Summerland Mini Golf! So much fun! Love the Summit Plummet and ski lift to the top!
Port Orleans Resort and Downtown Disney! Took the boat down the Sassagoula river and then to MGM Studios.
Magic Kingdom Spectro Magic Parade and Wishes Fireworks! Alicia(my old roomie) was visiting so a bunch of us went for dinner at Ohana's after. The castle looked amazing!

Coronado Springs(love this resort!) and Spoodles for dinner at the Boardwalk with Steph. Oh and got my hair coloured today, a few blonde streaks! I like it!

My last Serving Shift

The other night I had my last night serving at Le Cellier in Epcot! Since everyone is here for a year representing Canada, The restaurant has a little tradition where you stand on the fireplace in the dining room and everyone sings O'Canada on your last night. My last table was awesome, and it was a really great night! Breanne and Jill stood up there and talked on my behalf! It was so cute, and kinda sad too! I will miss it!

Justin Timberlake Concert

The Concert was amazing! Tanis, Andie, Gary and I drove to Tampa Bay, we really lucked out and ended up watching the show from the 4th row! It was amazing!!! So much fun!

I have been driving around a little convertible this week which has been great because the weather is hot and sunny! Dinner at Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge) where Todd works, Tanis and I had to eat there one more time! So so Good!

Tanis' last day!

Tanis had her last day at work on Wednesday! Here is Tanis, Kelsey and I right before work! I can't believe I'm next! I have exactly 7 days left of work! Kinda weird actually!

The Magic Kingdom! - Valentines day

The other day, I spent some time at the Magic Kingdom. It is very cold in Florida lately and we were freezing almost the whole time! We took the Mark Twain Riverboat which I hadn't done before, and went on the Jungle Cruise!

Gary and had lunch at the Fort Wilderness Lodge and I went for a massage! It was amazing! It was a 50 minute Swedish Full body massage! Absolute heaven! wow! I love the Wilderness Lodge, the trees, the big fireplaces, it reminds me a lot of Whistler!!!
Later on Gary took me for dinner at Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian. It was absolutely amazing! It is Florida's only AAA Five diamond restaurant! It included seven courses, a menu with your name printed on it, and every lady even gets a rose afterwards. It was awesome!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Hope everyone is having a great Valentines Day!!! Yesterday I worked for lunch, then Tanis, Shane and I went to Epcot for dinner and to watch the Illuminations Fireworks one more time! It was great, and dinner was amazing as usual! I had the Mushroom Filet and an Ice Wine Martini! Then Tanis and I had our throw out! Where everyone from Canada gets together and we give away all of the stuff we have collected through the year and aren't taking home with us. Wow did I have a lot of stuff!!! I can't believe its almost over, 2 weeks to go!!!

Today I felt like I was on Vacation...

Today was a wonderful day off!! There is a huge builders convention in Orlando (2nd biggest in the world apparently) so every rental place was out of cars, I finally lucked out and rented a blue Mustang - Yay! It was a beautiful day out and it was really warm too, Gary and I went to Universal Studios, and there were no long lines at all. We went on all the good rides and sat in the front of all the Roller Coasters. I decided that the Mummy is one of my favorite rides of all time! It's incredible!!!, a roller coaster in the dark with fire, smoke and scary mummy's!!! Later we went to Bubba Gump Shrimp for dinner!! Yum! We then headed to Downtown Disney for Ghiradelli's Chocolate Milkshakes and I bought some stuff from the Disney Store. It was a great day and the sunset was beautiful!!!! I will miss that for sure!


P.S. Anna Nicole Smith randomly died in Florida today at age 39!!??? Crazy!!

Sunny Days...

Yay! Today I slept in as usual, I've been so lazy lately since Ive been working late and the weather has not been that nice. Today though, the sun was shining through my window and I got the sudden urge to go for a run. I charged up my ipod and did just that. It is 21 degrees outside, which is warm for this time of year, when I got back I layed by the pool for an hour and actually got some sun! I feel so much better now, nice and refreshed. I have vowed to do this each day until I leave, I mean I only have 3 weeks left in the Sunny South!!!
