Canuck's Game

Last night we went to the Chicago v. Canucks Hockey Game. We won 5-2. We took one of those bar fan buses, which we were late for and missed the dinner. We finally made it but it was a little embarrassing when the whole bus started clapping as we walked on. Posted by Picasa

Oprah - Money maker or Child Saver?

Ok so tonight on MSN Tristan and I got into a heated discussion about my recent Oprah postings. What do you think?..... Am I just caught up in the whole media scheme of things? haha

Tristan: yeah and the sick thing is that something like that happens and the ones who really benefit from it are oprah and her cash cow of a show

Candice: ARE YOU SERIOUS?, she is trying to change the whole system

Tristan: sure they put a couple guys away, but it doesnt even come close to comparing to what it does for her publicity wise

Candice: what? Oprah doesnt need anymore publicity, she is using her money to change the US system, so that these guys are put away for life as soon as they sexually offend once, rather than going out and raping and killing a child, or worse.
No money or publicity compares to saving a childs life

Tristan: i dont disagree about saving lives yadada, I would respect it a lot more if it was a personal issue to her and she did it privately, or at least without flaunting it on her show

Candice: she is one of the only people who can reach out to everyone on this issue, her show is viewed worldwide, she doesnt need any more money, she is sick of seeing kids sacrificed by these sick men

Tristan: more endorsments, wider audience, more advertising revenue

Candice: Okay well Im getting frusterated here, I disagree with you on this issue

Tristan: sorry, I dont want to argue

Drive a little, Save a lot!?

Who doesn't love Matthew McConauhey?

Katie and Tom

So I guess the rumours are true. Katie sure looks pregnant in these pics.

Great News!!

Within 48 hours of The Oprah show airing last week with the posted pictures of wanted sex offenders. 2 were recognized and arrested. Here is Oprah who presented these ladies with a 100 thousand dollar reward for turning in one of the wanted men. William C Davis was living above one lady and her 3 children! It was an awesome show to watch because it shows how these people can act like a totally nice person and gain your trust. On the show they also had the family that now felt safe that this man was caught and their children weren't afraid anymore. Hopefully all of Oprah's fugitive list will be captured and put in jail before it's too late.

Oprah's $100,000.00 reward!

The Oprah show the other day was all about child abductors and sexual predators who are re-offending and children who are being killed because of it. Oprah is so sick of all these crimes that she has posted pictures of 8 wanted child sex offender's and is offering a 100 thousand dollar reward of her own money to the person who can give information that will lead to the capture of one of these criminals. She does not want these horrible events to continue happening. The show was so sad and showed real stories of little girls and boys who were victims of these heinous crimes. So keep your eye out for these guys! One little girl was saved from being spotted in a Denny's restaurant in Idaho, only 5 hours away. Go Oprah!
