Japan Teppanaki

Dinner in Japan was awesome! It was like Kobe's where they Teppanaki chefs cook the food infront of you, but with a Disney twist. I had the chicken and prawns and was so full after. So far I have ate at 3 of the restaurants in the World Showcase... Le Cellier in Canada, Rose & Crown in the UK, and now Mitsokoshi in Japan!!! My plan is to try them all, and I guess I have a year...

Hawaiian Girls

Tonight the theme for Girls night was Hawaiian! I wore my lei that I got from Ohana's in the Polynesian hotel. We then went to MOtion in PI and had a blast, Monday nights are so much fun!

Jons Birthday Limo

Last night I went out for Jon's Birthday! I brought Alisha with me and we were the only Canadians. Everyone else was John's friends from Palm Beach. They had a Hummer Limo for the night and we took it downtown to Church Street where all the clubs are. I had so much fun!

Davy Jones

Last night I worked the Epcot concert series where Davy Jones from the Monkees was performing. It was awesome! Tanis and I worked the lower stage where we patrolled the area from old ladies trying to jump on stage. People were begging me for his autograph or a chance to meet him. He sang all his old hits such as "Daydream Believer"!

Chillers Pics!

I can honestly say Chillers is one of the funnest bars Ive ever been to! It is so packed that it takes about 20 minutes to walk from the main floor to the roof top on the fourth floor.

Sarah Kelly from UK took this picture of me after my nap by the pool. I think the Pool looks beautiful in the lighting, just after the sun went down. It was so relaxing to just listen to my ipod and fall asleep, haven't done that in a while!

Animal Kingdom!

Today I woke up early to go to Animal Kingdom with Tessa, Tanis, Paul, Chase and Pierre Luc. I was sooo tired but I knew the earlier the better to see the animals on the safari! It was awesome! THe Giraffes were crossing right infront of our jeep! The, lion and the elephant and its baby were all out for us to see. Sometimes in the afternoon they are all sleeping! We then did some more rides and ate lunch at the Rainforest cafe. When I got home I went and slept by the pool!

On Monday night Tessa and I dressed up as Punk Rockers from the 80's in our band t-shirts we bought at the Virgin Megastore. The theme was Punk this week at Canadian girls.

Miss you...

Although I am having an absolutely wonderful time here in Florida, I do miss all my friends and family! I am keeping so busy that the time is passing so fast. Soon I will have been here for 2 months already! Time really flies when you are having fun! At least I have tons of pictures up in my room of all my friends and family so I still get to see your faces each morning! Don't forget to email me and send me letters! Ola is the only one who has mailed a letter, and no it isn't old fashioned! Hope everyone is doing well! Miss you lots. xox

Margaritaville!

For dinner we went to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville which is in Universals City Walk. City Walk is much like Downtown Disney, with tons of restaurants and shops. City Walk has Margaritaville, Pat O'Brien's, Hard Rock Cafe etc. and they are putting in a Bubba Gump Shrimp co. Yay! Margaritaville was awesome! There was live music and we sat outside. It was great times!

Universal!

Today Renata, Gary, John, Pierre Luc and I went to Universal. Pierre Luc from Quebec had never been to a themepark before so it was lots of fun! I love May because it is a slow period here and the lines were not long at all!!! Im already getting tons of use out of my Universal Season's pass!

Clearwater Beach!

Today Sheena rented a car and her, Joey and I drove to the Gulf Coast of Florida to go to Clearwater Beach! It was beautiful!!! I had been waiting for this day for a while. The drive was really nice and once we got there I was in paradise. We met up with Charlotte and the girls from Norway, and later ate at Frenchy's restaurant which was so good! Today was an awesome day off!!

After work Tessa came and met up with me because we had dinner reservations and the Rose and Crown pub in the UK. At work today my manager gave me a package with a whole bunch of goodies (c.d, chocolate, stickers, etc.) because I had gotten a Great Guest Service Comment card!! Yay !!:) Tessa and I first went to France and bought the parasols we have wanted for a while.

Next we went to Morocco which has restuarants, and lots of markets and shops!

Lastly we explored Japan! There are so many things to do and see it's amazing! We tried on Japanese Kimonos! SO fun!

House of Blues!

Went to House Of Blues Sunday night. Was lots of fun, and the drinks were free for girls! Gotta love that! Here are ALisha and I at HOB in DOwntown Disney!!

Disney's MGM

This morning a group of us who had the headed to MGM studios. As always I had alot of fun! We also watched the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. Ali got pulled up on stage as an extra. After MGM we took a friendship boat through the resorts to Epcot and walked around the World Showcase. We then took the monorail to the Polynesian resort and had dinner at Ohana's! It was awesome! I was so full I could barely move! Here are my pictures from my really good day off!!!

Exploring Epcot

Here we are on the boat over to Epcot from MGM. You pass lots of the resorts and beaches on the way, it was so beautiful!! The boardwalk was really cool because there are restaurants, shops and even a couple night clubs on the water. I definately want to come back here and explore! So pretty!

OHANA'S

We took the monorail from Epcot to The Polynesian resort where Ali had made dinner reservations for her Birthday! This restaurant is an all you can eat Hawaiian dining experience where they keep bringing food out to your table. There was prawns, chicken, salad, and meat that is cut at your table. The dessert was amazing!! We were also given Hawaiian lei's. After we explored the grounds a bit, I can't wait to come back to the pool and the beaches! Check out the Polynesian!

Happy Birthday Ali!

Last night a big group of us went out for Alliyah's Birthday!! We went to a club called Tabu which is on Church Street in Orlando, home to many clubs and bars, many are outdoor! It was pretty fun! Ali's Japanese roomates came and I was speaking a little Japanese to them, one was so impressed and said she would come visit me and make sushi!! yay!

Newbies

Went to TGI Fridays the other night with a few of the new Canadian girls. Tessa and I are no longer the new arrivals. These girls came from Kelowna B.C., Winnepeg, and Ontario. I can't believe I have now been here for a month... time really flies!

Bahama Breeze and days off...

I am excited because I have the next two days off! Today I got off at 5, which is great because it is still sunny for a few hours when I got home. I went to Bahama Breeze for dinner which was really cool! Kim and I walked there from the Commons. There is a live music (Carribean style) outside with a really tropical theme. Inside there are palm trees, waterfalls and the food was really very good!

ARMY GIRLS

Last night for Canadian Girls Monday everyone dressed in Camo and we filled water guns and balloons with the plan to go and attack the guys. It was so funny because we all felt like we were in grade 3. Well the plan didn't really work out and most of us ended up going to Pleasure Island. PI was again alot of fun as usual! I went to BET< Beach CLub, Mannequins and Motion!

Flower and Garden!

Right now it is the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot!! Its really really nice because there are flowers everywhere and exhibits to look at. There is also a Tinkerbell Fairy garden. They make characters out of flowers and grass. On Tuesday and next Sunday I get to work in the American Adventure while they have concerts going on. Yesterday Jessie and I came to Epcot before work to go on some rides (Soarin over California) and to eat Fish and Chips in the UK!!!

Universal

Yesterday a group of us went to Universal and Islands of Adventure. We spent the entire day there and got the "Eat all day" option which was awesome because all the food was included for $20. In the afternoon it started to rain a bit, so by night time the park was very empty. We went on all the water rides (Jurassic Park, Pluto's barg rat rapids, and Dudley Do-Rights Rip-saw Falls) over and over until we were Soaked!!! It was tons of fun and we went on the roller coasters which only had 5 minute line ups. I loved Dueling Dragons at night, sitting in the front was terrifying! By the end of the night I was exhausted and very full!

Mini Golfing

Yesterday Tessa, Sheena, Jase and I all had the day off, we spent the day by the pool which was awesome! Then we went to Olive Garden for dinner with Kim and then went to play Mini Golf. The Mini golf place was Pirate themed and we had alot of fun!

Of course it was my idea to all wear our Pirate eye patches and get a picture!

Chillers!

Last night I went to Chillers! My new favorite bar! It was 4 levels and the top level is open air with tiki torches and djs. It was amazing there and I had an awesome time. I went with Paul from Canada and his roomate from France. There were also lots of Norweigans there. All of the drinks were $1 dollar each, Coronas, Margarita's shots anything!!! So busy and each floor had different music and a different theme.

My lucky day!

Today I was at work, when I got asked to attend a meeting. Me and Nikki from Canada went outside to see the area manager of the UK and Canada waiting for us. We jumped in her car with 3 UK girls and she told us we were going to accept our award on behalf of our pavillion at the Diversity awards. Canada was the runner up and UK got first place. There was tons of desserts and drinks there for us and we sat down very happy to be away from work for a couple hours. Everyone was congratulating us and shaking our hands, pretty funny considering I was not prepared for this today. We met and had pictures taken with the president of Epcot, who is actually quite the celebrity around here. After the awards we were served the best strawberry cream cake ever! Yum! Lots of people were super jealous! hehe so unexpected!

Orlando Outlet shopping!

Today I dragged my Norweigan roomate Iselin to the Orlando Premium Outlets. They are so good! At one point it started to rain and being an outdoor mall we had to take cover in the stores. It was not a little rain shower, it was a rain storm and the air was so hot and humid I felt like I was in that part of the Vancouver Aqaurium where the turtles and tropical birds live. I found some really great deals! The Adidas jacket and running shoes together came to $35 bucks. I absolutely love this Dooney & Booke purse I bought too! Sabrine you would love the Coach outlet here, it is so much bigger and better then the one in Burlington! Anyways that is my shopping story! We came home to find our Italian roomate making pizza and salad for a few friends she had over. This Japanese girl was here and I introduced myself and asked how she was in Japanese. She was amazed how well I could speak it! I honestly remember more Japanese that I learned in grade 8 then the French taught throughout highschool. Marianna then showed me how they eat ice cream in Italy. She put it in a mug and poured hot coffee over it! It was delicious!

Pleasure Island

Last night the all the girls went out to PI. The theme this week was Bunny (with Easter and all). It was alot of fun! We went to Motion! By the time we got there it was already 12 pm and the 2 hours go by so fast!
